My name is Katrine Haraldsen and I am a young woman from Bergen, Norway. I live at Askøy, approximately 20 minuts drive from Bergen citycentre. I own a company called 'Topdog Fysioterapi', which specialises in rehabilitation and physical therapy for dogs. I am also a fulltime psychology student, with ambitions to work in the science field of psychology.
All my life I have been devoted to all kinds of animals - especially dogs. I grew up around everything from rabbits to cats to horses, but it was not until I moved from home at the age of 18 years old that I came closer to my dream of owning my own dog - more precisely a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I started searching for my new familymember, and a year later, April 2008, my soulmate was born. Dexter (Electric Excalibur of Red Passion), bred by Juanita Mülder (Red Passion) in the Netherlands, is my first Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Taking him home to Norway with me is something I will never forget.
After having Dexter for a couple of years, I felt that the time was right for a Stafford number two. So after a period of time I was very fortunate to bring Daisy (Be Mine Of Red Passion) home from the Netherlands too.
''My dogs are not only my pets, but my way of life and my family. I could not have had a more perfect breed for my active lifestyle.''
Since getting my first Staffordshire Bull Terrier I have always had a desire of reading and educating myself on the breed. I believe in having a humble approach to everything I do, and I seek knowledge everywhere I possibly can.
I feel a great responsibility in hence of contributing to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed. Therefore I will only breed a maximum of one litter per year. As I have a strong desire of contributing to the breed in a positive manner, my combinations will be carefully selected and based on keeping the outcome myself for further breeding. I do not breed exclusively for sale.
My ideal example of the breed is a specimen perfectly balanced between Bull and Terrier, with great movements and a mentality that is true to the breed standard. This, combined with good health, is what I will stribe to achieve with my breeding.
The DaintyDiamond-Affix is registrated under FCI and the Norwegian Kennel Club.
